Called to Intimacy

We live in a world of constant demands for attention and action. Our calendars overflow with work, family commitments, ministry opportunities, and personal goals. Our life, our purpose, our capacity to love and serve effectively, all flow from our relationship with Jesus. He isn’t just a guide for our journey; He is the Vine, the source of our life. When we prioritize His presence—listening to His voice, reading His Word, simply being with Him—we become deeply rooted. This intimacy isn’t a chore; it’s the most life-giving activity we can engage in.

When our intimacy with God is our primary calling, everything else shifts. Our service becomes less about striving and more about overflowing into the purpose God has for us. Our decisions are guided by His wisdom, not just our own understanding. Our strength in difficult times comes from His Holy Spirit, not our limited reserves. This deep connection allows us to bear lasting fruit, not by our own strength, but by His.
