1. God’s Love Depends on Your Actions
A lot of people grow up thinking God only loves them when they do everything right. Maybe you’ve wondered if one more mistake will make Him look away. That’s not how God loves. Romans 5:8 says it straight: “While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” God’s love is steady. It comes from who He is, not what you do. You don’t have to earn it. He loves you wide open, no strings attached, on your best and worst days.
2. Hard Times Mean God is Angry
When trouble comes, it’s easy to think God is upset with you. Maybe you ask, “What did I do wrong?” But challenges aren’t always a punishment. They can be a place where God shapes you. Hebrews 12:6 reminds us, “The Lord disciplines those He loves.” That’s not about pain for the sake of pain. It’s about growth. Hard times burn away fear, pride, and selfishness. What’s left is stronger, cleaner, and closer to what God wants for you.
You don’t walk through fire for nothing. God won’t let your pain go to waste. Every struggle is a chance to become who you were made to be.
