Forge Speaker Nathan Burd reports from Brighton, Colorado, where he partnered with Forge Speaker John Vermilya and other Forge representatives for a Life on Purpose Conference as part of Ignite Colorado in Brighton. Ignite is the latest initiative from Forge—working alongside pastors across an entire city to mobilize people as Kingdom Laborers, everywhere and every day. Brighton is currently in phase One of Six Life on Purpose Conferences across Adams County, leading toward a culminating evangelistic event where participants bring their lost friends. Attendees left marked—one calling it the best evangelistic training they had ever been part of. This is a firsthand snapshot of a city being equipped and a movement taking shape.
Forge Speaker Paul Epperson reports from one of the most “manly” events of his time on the road—a men’s gathering of about fifty men who love Christ, gathered around a bonfire in the middle of nowhere. Men were raw and real, walking through fear, confessing what distracts them from following Jesus, and singing praises to God out loud under the open sky. Paul describes it simply: a heaven-on-earth moment that made him love Jesus more. When men get honest before God and each other, something transformational happens.
Forge Speaker Jonathan Shwerin reports from the Tabernacle’s Sportsman Banquet—a two-day event that drew 300 people each day, with over 600 present across the weekend. The church came prepared, had been praying for lost people, and their team executed with excellence. By the end of the two days, 218 spiritual decisions had been made—59 of them first-time decisions to follow Jesus. Jonathan reflects on the privilege of partnering with a church so intentionally focused on seeing people come to know the Lord. When a church prays, prepares, and steps out in faith, the harvest shows up—and this weekend, it showed up in a powerful way.
Forge Speaker Nathan Burd reports from a call with pastors in Nigeria, where the message of Laborership landed with immediate impact. Their response was simple and direct: thank you for this encouraging message. Nathan reflects on what he continues to witness—ordinary people around the world hungry to know that God can use them to share Jesus with the people right around them. The message is spreading, and more people are taking part. The call of a Kingdom Laborer knows no borders—and with every conversation, the movement grows.
