Deandre grew up in Kingston, Jamaica, where he spent his whole life until moving to the United States in 2018 for college. Though he achieved athletic success, earning more than 10 national championship titles, Deandre’s heart was changed most deeply by the grace and love of Jesus Christ. Motivated by a life-transforming relationship with Jesus, his greatest desire is not for fame or recognition, but to see lives changed by the Gospel.
Called to reach those who have not yet heard the message of hope, Deandre has devoted himself to a lifetime of evangelism. His mission is simple—to share God’s love and truth with all people, no matter where he is called to go.
About Deandre
Deandre is currently a master’s student at Columbia International University, where he is pursuing his Master of Divinity in Ministry Studies. Passionate about communicating God’s Word, he is training to become a full-time itinerant evangelist. While athletic accomplishments once defined much of his identity, Deandre now considers them small compared to his calling to serve Christ.
Outside of ministry and school, Deandre enjoys playing pickleball, soccer, and spending time with others. Deandre’s journey from the streets of Kingston to the calling of Christian ministry is a testimony of God’s grace, and he is committed to serving wherever God leads.
