What do you give the person who has everything?
For me, that person was my grandfather, and what I got him was chocolate-covered cherries. I’m sure many of you have those hard-to-buy-for people on your Christmas list.
But what do you get for the One who literally has everything — the Creator of all that is, seen and unseen?
The answer is simple, yet very costly: you give Him your all — your heart, your thoughts, your abilities, your motivations, your money, your time, your shortcomings and inadequacies, your worship, your obedience … that’s really the only gift that will truly satisfy Him. It’s the only gift truly worth offering Him.
May Jesus receive the gift of your heart and life this Christmas.

Pray, Lord, I truly offer you all that I have and all that I am this Christmas. Write down any thoughts, attitudes, practices, or resistances that keep you from being “all in” with Jesus. Give them to Jesus.
