Scripture Focus:
Luke 2:10 (NIV) — “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
You were made by God. What does that mean?
It means every one of us was lovingly crafted in our mother’s womb. God did not make you by accident. You have a purpose in life. You weren’t tossed into the world randomly, left to figure things out on your own. God planned you, and He planned your good works in advance.
Now, if you’re not walking in that purpose, you will feel it. You may experience a shallow kind of happiness—a rush that feels exciting at the moment—but it doesn’t satisfy. Satan isn’t stupid; he knows how to make sin feel thrilling, so we confuse temporary highs with real joy. But deep down, the void remains. That ache in your heart? That’s your purpose calling.
You were made by God, and He loves you! You are not an accident. Your life has meaning, and your steps matter.
