Mexico City LOP Conference

June 5, 2025

Forge Speaker Paul Epperson partnered with Santiago Fuentes for a Life on Purpose Conference and church service in Mexico City, where God moved powerfully.

Paul described the experience as “electric,” noting how hungry and loving the congregation was. The majority of attendees responded to the call to become Kingdom laborers, and the church ended the service by commissioning their pastor and each other in prayer. During the event, 5–6 individuals responded to the gospel for salvation, including one man who had just come off drugs, felt prompted by God to attend, and said, “That message was from God to me.” Paul praised Santiago’s role—not just translating, but powerfully preaching alongside him. He closed with thanks and a hopeful prayer: “We’re believing for a great harvest of souls and more Kingdom laborers.”

Hey everybody, it’s Paul. Just got back from Mexico City doing a Life on Purpose Conference and preaching at a church service there with the one and only Santiago Fuentes. And I say number one watching God work through Santiago and all that he that God has been going through him over the years and getting things translated into Spanish also now and just the force content.

It’s just wow, I’m just in awe of God right now, so your prayers have fueled what God’s been doing through him there specifically. But man, had a just a wonderful pastor there and I mean just such a loving, kind, congregation. Hungry for the word of God and to serve Him and so when you walk into a place like that, it’s electric you know. And what’s neat here is the as you know is the man and you know the love of God and just love is translated I any language and so getting to love people and just you know just see people and stop spend time with them that way.

Having Santiago there, doing the same thing hearing him preach this through this Life on Purpose and us doing that together. That was a great joy. So yeah, we had, I mean, most of the majority of the congregation responded you know to say “Man, we want to be Kingdom Laborers and commit to that and pray for that.”

Praying to the whole congregation prayer over their pastor and his wife and then the pastor prayed over them to commission them out is kind of what we were suggesting to them. And then you know, just the Sunday service was so good and so thankful Santi translated so well and you know and Santi does more when you have him. So if you know anybody that needs that he’s not just a translator. He’s a preacher. So that is a 10-time I believe such an effective thing when he’s not just translating, he’s preaching to in that context and we’re going that together.

But yeah, we had many respond you know to trust God and walk through a fear and then we had maybe five or six or maybe, I can’t remember. Somewhere in that range of people respond to the gospel for salvation or at least indicating that.

One guy said he had been off of drugs for about seven days and not really gone to church. First time he’s ever been to this church. He said God woke him up that morning and said, “You’ve got to get to church and go to this one.” And he said that message was from God to me. And he stood you know to indicate he wanted Christ.

And so it was just an awesome time. Thank you guys so much for praying. I pray you’ll continue to pray over the Fuentes and others in the church. Pastor Alio and all them as they, we pray for a great harvest of souls and more Kingdom Laborers. So thank you. Love doing ministry together with y’all. Bye.
