Forge Speaker Michaela Wickham reports from Welcome Wesleyan Church in Seneca, South Carolina—a congregation that has supported her journey as an itinerant since her college years. Preaching as part of their ongoing series in First John, Michaela unpacked what it means to truly love one another from 1 John 3:11–24, challenging the congregation not just to say they love each other but to put that love into visible, active practice. Congregants left encouraged toward faith in action, and Michaela also had the opportunity to share about the mission of Forge in the lobby, opening doors for new financial partnerships. This is a homecoming story of obedience taking root in both a speaker and the church that raised her up.
Forge Speaker Hope Radebaugh reports from Riverside Bible Camp in Amherst, Wisconsin, where she served for the third time as a Forge itinerant speaker. She describes the camp as a place that does an exceptional job helping students encounter Jesus in the midst of having fun. Over two evenings, Hope felt the Lord prompting her to extend a call to know Him, and while she could not count every hand raised, approximately 40 to 50 middle school students said yes to Jesus. Hope closes by praising God for every new young lamb called home. This is the harvest that faithful seed-sowing was always meant to produce.
