Fire can remind us of comfort and safety, yet in connection with God, it also brings a sense of awe and caution. Does His love purify, or is it something we keep at a safe distance? The truth is, God’s fire does not harm—it transforms. When we are willing to draw near, His fire promises real change: a life formed for His purposes.
God’s fire is set apart. It changes us from the inside out and calls us to trust Him completely. But why does God use fire as an example? Fire is clear—it represents both cleaning and closeness. We often see fire as something dangerous, but in God’s care, it is not about ruin. It is about crafting our lives into something rare and beautiful.
Consider the process of refining metal: intense heat is used to make it pure. In the same way, God uses challenges and struggles to shape our souls. His work is intentional and specific, much like a sculptor who carefully removes what does not belong to reveal the artwork inside.
